The University of Michigan Ross School of Business stresses action-based learning, a program designed to alert students to ask pertinent questions, identify important problems, and become an effective leader. Students can complete a full-time M.B.A., part-time M.B.A., or Executive M.B.A. Part-time degrees can be completed in the evenings or on weekends, and the E.M.B.A. courses only meet one weekend a month. There are also degree programs for a Master of Accounting and Master of Supply Chain Management, as well as a Ph.D. Program.
Students can get involved in a handful of centers and institutes at the business school, including the Frederick A. and Barbara M. Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise and the Tauber Institute for Global Operations. There are more than 70 student-run clubs and organizations, as well as a Women’s Initiative that offers counseling and programming to females at the Ross School of Business. Students can find housing on and off campus in Ann Arbor, Mich. using school tools such as Arbor Web and the UM Housing Office.
